Retro days

Post by Hammer » Thu Oct 16, 2008 16:18

I've been playing quite a bit of CS 1.6 recently, if anyone fancies a blast from the old days.

My steam ID is paulanderson@hotmail.com and I usually can be found on

The saxo is wicked fun like driving a go kart. Its the vts model mines running 130 bhp but thinking about what it would be liked if i put a turbo on it :D Theres 1 on e-bay with over 400 bhp.

Speaking about Steam, is it a bad thing? Or how bad is it? I have to know: next totalwar is on Steam.

No spyware or permaware or anything like that?
Totalwar was using Securom and it was totally trashed by the community. Then they announced they will use Steam for Empire:Totalwar.

not that i know off
just anoying

and anti piracy measures like securom might still be present.... dont realy know if using steam exludes that but steam certainly checks your cd key and indeed your key(s) are bound to your account wich is handy because you can download all them games via steam even if you dont have the cd anymore
i can get halflife1 and i lost the cd years ago lol
